Safety & Security
- On any of our challenges the safety and security of our participants is paramount, we do everything possible to ensure that they are safe at all times.
- Before a challenge takes place we conduct a full recce and risk assessment of the trip so that in the event of any accidents, we react as efficiently as possible.
- The team includes experienced ground staff, led by an English-speaking head guide, an Action Challenge tour leader, a Charity rep and in most instances an English-speaking first-aider/doctor, all of whom are fully briefed and are well prepared for any emergency.
- We use 2-way radios and a satellite phone where there is need and have a 24-hour emergency line through to our London Head Office during events.
- We always take advice from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office before any trip goes ahead, and we will have no hesitation in amending a route for safety purposes.
- We provide full contact details for each hotel/lodge (where available), Action Challenge/charity contact details and embassy information. We advise that family members keep this information while the event is on.
