overview

The tropical island of Sri Lanka is a country full of delights. This tough coast to coast challenge covers quiet back-roads through hilly countryside, tea plantations and cultural sites before finishing at the beach where we celebrate together. Sign up for yourself or fundraise for a charity and experience this incredible group challenge on an unforgettable island!

Our challenging 5 day cycle takes us from Sri Lanka’s beautiful west coast, weaving inland up and in to the welcome coolness of the central highlands, exploring tea plantations and beautiful scenery, visiting cultural Kandy and onto the far northeast coast and historic port of Trincomalee. Here we end our cycle adventure, finally relaxing and celebrating our ride by the glittering Indian Ocean, before heading back to lively Colombo. This is a demanding, adventurous trip taking us through stunning scenery, where we will have a rare insight into rural Sri Lanka.

Our Sri Lanka cycle challenge is fully-inclusive of meals, all accommodation and bikes! If you are fundraising, Action Challenge will sort out all charity formalities for you, and offer a pre-challenge briefing in London where you can meet our cycle leaders. As a team we board a flight to Colombo, ready to take on this challenging bike ride through the Sri Lankan countryside!
