overview

It is incredible to believe that in just two weeks out of the office, we can reach the base camp of the greatest mountain on earth, Everest. On this eleven day trek we witness some of the most breathtaking scenery, visiting some of the highest villages in the world, and admiring sunrise over the Himalayan snow-capped peaks and Khumbu Glacier. From the peak of Kala Patthar, we gaze up at the mighty Everest summit. On our return to Kathmandu, we spend our last night together to celebrate our journey.

This exhilarating challenge to the Base Camp of Everest is fully inclusive! After registering, you will be provided with a challenge pack with all essential information for your trek. If you are raising money for a charity, Action Challenge will sort out all formalities for you, as well as offer you pre-challenge briefings and training weekends in the UK. On departure day we will board a flight to Kathmandu, ready to take on the adventure of a lifetime!

Following the devistating Earthquakes in April and May 2015 the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) currently advise that you are able to travel freely through most of Nepal including the trek the route to base camp and the capital of Kathmandu.  However, some areas of Nepal still have advice not to travel.  For latest and more update FCO advice please follow the link below:
