At Action Challenge, we understand what a hard task it can be to organise a charity challenge event, and our aim is to help make the process easy for you. We have been successfully organising International Charity Challenges since 1997, and are able to offer high quality events that are tailor-made to each charity’s needs.

Our focus is primarily on providing a smooth, enjoyable and safe challenge that will ensure your participants remain long-term supporters, raising vital funds for your charity.

There are four basic options for your charity challenge events:

What you need to do

  • Decide on which challenge to offer your clients. From past experience or from knowing your client base well, you may know exactly what’s required in terms of destination, group numbers, quality etc. It is useful for us to know some parameters of your challenge: in the hot, cold, mountainous, direct flights, hotel only, tough, moderate, easy, low budget, no camping... The list is endless.
  • If you have projects abroad then visiting one of these is a great way of showing your fundraisers where their money is going and definitely helps to forge greater links with those participants.
  • A deposit will be required upon confirmation and 8 weeks before departure we will need the final balance payment along with all participant details, medical forms and room share lists. Depending on what and where the challenge is, we may require a retainer fee.

  • If the event that you require is not on our books, we will gladly research the perfect itinerary for you.
  • We provide you with:
    • A full Info Pack with everything you need to know
    • An Event Manual detailing the event for your participants
    • An itinerary with times and topographical data
    • A Charity Rep manual
    • Application and medical forms
    • A FAQ’s form
    • A contract
    • Photos you may need for marketing/advertising
  • We will attend a briefing evening for your participants to learn a little more about the challenge and most importantly to answer any questions that are still worrying them.
  • We recommend a personal travel insurance provider.
  • We can arrange extensions and further travel options for your participants.
  • We give you participant feedback forms for post event debrief.

On the event itself, there will be the full Action Challenge team together with an English-speaking local head guide. A full risk assessment is made for each event and we manage all event logistics.
