Insurance
Each Participant must take out an insurance policy that adequately covers for all aspects of the trip, including helicopter rescue for mountain areas and medical repatriation that can be authorised on the advice of the Action Challenge tour leader. Action Challenge’s recommended insurance provider is Campbell Irvine Please see the insurance application form available from your charity or Action Challenge. Alternatively, you can call the insurance company direct on +44 1737 223 687.
You will need to quote ‘Action Challenge’ and the name of your event. All questions regarding the cover, costs and purchase of the insurance can be made directly with Campbell Irvine. Please inform your charity once you have purchased the insurance and fax/email through a copy of the cover note to them.
Travel insurance can be bought elsewhere, but a copy of the policy must be given to the charity one month prior to departure. Please be aware that most high-street policies will not provide sufficient cover.
