Stefan Meigh
Stefan founded Action Challenge after 11 years working on international challenge & sporting events within the charity sector. Today Stefan manages our international business, working closely with operators, clients & staff. A keen mountaineer, cyclist & traveller having led trips.
Jan Smolaga
With a background in the corporate sector, Jan spent time with small international development charity before moving into the world of global endurance and adventure events. He's taken part in most of the challenges we offer, and is always keen to try a new challenge, trek or climb.
Heather Mooney
Heather brings her experience in event management, quality assurance, and customer service to head up the delivery of our international challenge portfolio. A keen runner with an MBA, she handles client enquiries, flights and extensions - and is the friendly voice and face of our overseas events.
Joe
A highly accomplished mountain leader and guide, Joe has led almost all of our current trip itineraries - including over 50 Kilimanjaro summits!
Rhiannon
A seasoned expedition leader & medic who has led Kilimanjaro, Sahara, Everest Base Camp, Patagonia, Iceland treks and more.
Elaine
Elaine has led trips with us all around the world, from Iceland to Vietnam, and from Everest Base Camp to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
James
James is one of our most experienced trek leaders with multiple Kilimanjaro summits, Mera Peak, and the Ecuador volcanoes trek,
Stiwart
Stiwart has led on many of our overseas Ultra Adventures, from the Sahara to Iceland, alongside many other treks & summits.
Lynsey
Lynsey has headed up our overseas Ultra Adventures, alongside leading treks through the jungles of Vietnam, Machu Picchu, Kili and more.
Iain
Iain has led many of our cycles and treks, from Vietnam 2 Cambodia and Sri Lanka, to Patagonia, Jordan & Iceland.
Effy
A rescue Staffy–Whippet cross with a background in stick retrieval, she oversees office morale & ensures all visitors know where the snacks are.
