Business Development Manager

FULL TIME, LONDON HQ OFFICE

The ‘events & travel sector’ is firing on all cylinders after a couple of difficult ‘Covid’ years – and we are now seeking to fully re-engage with our existing client base and expand it quickly with new corporates & charities – along with an expanding portfolio of UK based mass participation events and International challenges. We are looking for an individual to join our Business Development Team to help drive these important initiatives, and to also deliver first class customer service to our key clients.

You will be an ambitious individual with the desire to work in a dynamic, small team – with a flexible approach to work and with a rounded, generalist skill-set. You will ideally have previous experience of having worked within a sales, marketing or commercial environment with the ambition to grow and achieve both targeted results as well as delivering professional events. Understanding the ‘charity sector’ would be useful (but not essential) – as would an interest in the outdoors and the style of product we sell.

Overseas Challenge Coordinator

FULL TIME, BASED IN LONDON OFFICE

The primary responsibility is to coordinate with Action Challenge’s customers, and to manage the accompanying processes, to ensure that our customers are well prepared and the operational plans are delivered effectively – from pre-booking to post-trip.  This role has the responsibility for delivering a 1st class service level setting us apart from our competitors, ensuring our customers return year on year, and become advocates for our brand. You will be responsible for making sure the end-to-end customer journey runs smoothly, from getting participants to register to following up with participants post-challenge to ensure that we’re their choice for their next adventure!

Senior Project Manager

FULL TIME, LONDON HQ OFFICE

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced events professional to join one of the UK’s most popular series of mass participation ‘endurance’ events, to lead the operational planning of the events portfolio. Over 100,000 adventurers have taken on an Ultra Challenge® with us, raising over £35 million for charities, and the 14 unique events make up the UK’s biggest & best series of treks & runs. This key role sits within our UK Operations Team, and is ideal for a passionate individual who can ‘multi task’, is very organised, can communicate very well – and is looking to further their career within the mass participation/ sporting / events sector to lead and oversee the planning and successful delivery of the logistics & detailed operations of this class leading set of events.

Graduate Trainees, Event Coordinators

FULL TIME, BASED IN LONDON OFFICE

We are looking for recent University graduates with a keen interest in sporting events, and mass participation – ideally with a relevant degree subject, or can demonstrate a passion and interest in what we do to join us on a 6 month internship program. You will be available to work from March onwards, and will gain experience across marketing, customer services, planning and operations as we work towards delivering the 2022 series of events. Mountain Leaders

PART TIME, ACROSS THE GLOBE

We are always on the look out for Mountain Leaders with experience trekking and leading groups at altitude with a passion for delivery outstanding experiences. Across the year we have over 30 Kilimanjaro departures, as well as many other trekking challenges and expeditions across the globe. We organise treks along the Great Wall of China to Everest Base Camp – from small to large groups, children to corporate teams – if you think you have the right experience please apply!

Event Crew

We’re looking for dedicated & enthusiastic individuals to join us and work with us on our events. Working on an Ultra Challenge can be fun, engaging and hugely rewarding – from helping to set up the sites, serving cups of tea, to welcoming in challengers to rest stops – the roles are varied and you will never be doing the same thing all weekend.
