Prepare for your overseas challenge with Action Challenge by joining one of our guided training walks in the UK. These events are designed exclusively for participants signed up to an overseas trip, giving you the chance to build fitness, test your kit, and meet fellow challengers.
North Downs 50 Challenge

By popular demand – we’re heading back to the North Downs with a fabulous challenge setting out from our Guilford basecamp, and a looped 50km route which takes in some of the best of the Surrey hills, the North Downs Way, and the surrounding countryside.
Snowdon Night Summit

Our Snowdon night training weekend will see you trekking through the day, resting in the evening and then waking up around midnight to start the trek to the summit of Mount Snowdon. Be ready for the toughest part of the challenge, join us in bringing the Kilimanjaro summit night to the UK!

London 2 Paris Cycle

Our route takes us through the rolling hills of rural France and into its vibrant capital. Our finish line is the mighty Eiffel tower in Paris where we celebrate are achievements!
London Winter Walk

A great event to walk off the Christmas celebrations, and to kick start your New Year fitness regime! There are Full Marathon & Half Marathon & 10K options, all starting & finishing at The Oval Cricket Ground on Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 January, and take in highlights of London.
Thames Path Challenge

England’s greatest river provides a fantastic backdrop for an unforgettable challenge. Over 3000 adventurers will join the Putney start, the full 100 km route heads upstream to Henley along the famous Towpath. Through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor, with some wonderful scenery.
South West Coast 50

Starting at our ‘base-camp’ in the shadows of the impressive Dunster Castle, the 50 km loop heads over Exmoor with ups & downs and some magnificent views with over 1600 metres of climb. You’ll get full support, and with three 25 km options also, plus a family friendly 10K.
South Coast Challenge

Eastbourne start, Beachy Head, along the Seven Sisters, South Downs Way, with stunning coastal views. Devil’s Dyke, and a few ups & downs lie before historic Arundel comes into view after an amazing 100 km journey. Half & quarter distances- there’s a South Coast Challenge for everyone!
Peak District Challenge

Our base-camp hub in idyllic Bakewell with a full 100 km Challenge which takes a tough & varied figure of 8 route through Derbyshire’s finest scenery. You’ll get full support all the way, and with half & quarter distance options – there’s a Peak District Challenge for everyone!
