Finally we are headed back to Everest Base Camp!

After 2 years of covid-19 postponements & cancellations we are so very excited to finally see our 1st team of trekkers back in Nepal, and out along the Everest Base Camp trail. The 11 day trek, starts in the Himalayan foothills, and our team have slowly been making their way towards their goal of base camp.

Today our team have reached the small Sherpa village of Dingboche, which sits at an altitude of 4,410m, all are in good spirits & feeling fit to keep pushing forward. As part of the route to Base Camp, the itinerary allows for 2 nights here – meaning that our trekkers can take part in an ‘acclimitsation’ climb, where they trekker higher for a few hours, before looping back to a lower altitude to sleep.

Fancy setting your sights on the world’s highest base camp? Check out our next departures here!
