Our blueprint for the Kilimanjaro New Year Summit is built around delivering a safe, solid, and unforgettable experience. Each group is led by a seasoned UK Mountain Leader who knows the mountain inside out and keeps everything running smoothly from base to summit. A UK expedition medic is also on hand throughout, fully equipped to look after the team’s wellbeing.

This expert support gives everyone—from solo adventurers to couples and family groups—the best shot at reaching the summit at sunrise on New Year’s Day. It’s all about teamwork, grit, and starting the year with an epic achievement and memories that’ll last a lifetime.

Enjoy the comfort of our private campsites, reserved just for your New Year’s group. After a solid day on the mountain, it’s the perfect place to relax, refuel, and share stories from the trail. The communal mess tent is where the real magic happens—hot meals, great company, and campsite conversations you wouldn’t find at your local on 31st December. 

With private toilet tents at camp and lunch stops, we keep things clean and convenient—even halfway up Kilimanjaro. These small comforts make a big difference, helping you focus on the challenge, the camaraderie, and the incredible summit sunrise on New Year’s Day.

Whether it’s the hotels,  restaurants & transfers before & after the main challenge – or the challenge accommodation & meals whilst out on the trails – our all inclusive packages mean that you will get a top quality experience at a great value price! Flights are generally included, but there’s a ‘land only’ option if you’d prefer to book your own – and single supplement accommodation upgrades are available.

After tackling the mountain together, the group gets to kick back and celebrate in style on the final night. Expect medals, a few awards, and maybe even a bit of a party to mark the achievement. It’s a great way to celebrate the start of a new year.

You’ll go up the mountain with a group of strangers and come back down with new friends – so it’s a proper send-off after a tough challenge well done.
