Standing tall within the Himalaya range, Mera Peak’s summit is 6,497m high – a tough, and mighty ‘trekking’ peak which is an ideal ‘next step’ if you’ve tackled Kilimanjaro or Everest Base Camp. On the morning of the 22nd October 2022 – our team successfully reached the summit in the early hours just as the sun rose.
After a 2 year absence, our popular Saharan Challenge made a triumphant return last week. 150 runners and trekkers made their way to Morocco with our team, to take on 2 marathons over 2 days in the world’s largest desert!
We are pleased to share with you that the total amount fundraised across all of our events in 2021 was over £7 million, with a whopping £6.9 million of that being raised via JustGiving!
Pedalling For Pubs 2022: Jordan is a challenge like no other taking place from 10th-15th March 2022 with participants tasked at riding an average of 90km per day in extreme heat and rocky conditions all in the name of fundraising for a great cause.
We are so very excited to finally see our 1st team of trekkers back in Nepal, and out along the Everest Base Camp trail. Our team have reached the small Sherpa village of Dingboche, which sits at an altitude of 4,410m, all are in good spirits & feeling fit to keep pushing forward.
This week we’ve seen our intrepid group of Jordan Trekkers set out across the desert headed to Petra & Wadi Rum – covering over 15km a day and camping under the stars across various camps in the desert.
We would like to congratulate all who took on the on the London Winter Walk this weekend – thank you for being part of such a special event with us, and we hope that you had a fantastic time.
Our first team on the mountain for nearly 2 years have reached the summit of Kilimanjaro as the sun rose on 1st January 2022 New Year’s Day.
