If you’ve ever dreamed of standing on the roof of Africa, wind in your hair, tears in your eyes, and a big grin on your face… then hello, our Women Only Kilimanjaro Climb is calling your name. And no, you don’t need to be a hardened mountaineer or a dab-hand with crampons and ice axes. You just need a sense of adventure, an up to date passport, and the ability to strap on your boots & put one foot in front of the other.
This is a social, fun and safe adventure with a group of like-minded women who are ready to take on Africa’s highest mountain – and maybe have a laugh while doing it.
Why a Women-Only Climb?

Let’s be honest: climbing a 5,895m mountain is no small feat. But doing it with a team of supportive, inspiring women is a whole different experience. Whether you’re travelling solo (like 60% of our trekkers), with your best mate, or your mum who’s decided she’s “doing something big this year,” you’ll find yourself surrounded by camaraderie, encouragement, and some likely future friends.
You’ll share stories, swap blister plasters, and cheer each other on through every step – from the lush rainforest at the base, to that incredible moment when you stand on the summit watching the sunrise. And yes, there will be tears. And hugs. And probably a group singalong at some point. There’s always a singalong.
The Power of a UK Leader (aka Your Mountain Mum)

Now, let’s talk about one of the secret ingredients to our Women Only Kilimanjaro Climbs: the UK expedition leader. This isn’t just someone who knows how to read a map and set their alarm for morning wake up times (although they also do this). We work with a number of experienced, trained women mountain leaders and guides – many of whom have climbed Kilimanjaro more times than most people have changed their duvet covers.
They will be your guide, your motivator, your “give you the talking-to you need to reach the top” person. They understand the highs and lows, what makes for a successful climb, and they’re there to make sure you feel safe, supported, and confident every step of the way.

This Is An All-Inclusive, Supported Climb

We don’t believe in half-measures. When you sign up for the Women Only Kilimanjaro Climb, you get the full works:
- Private Campsites – No sharing with random groups or noisy neighbours. Just your team, your tents, and your peace
- Private Toilet Tents – Because dignity matters, even at altitude. Clean & private (although you should practice your squats for those breaks between camps…)
- Communal Spaces – Welcoming mess tents where you can eat, chat, play cards, and place bets on who will still be smiling at the top
- Female Mountain Leaders & Medics – Experienced, qualified, and with deep experience. They know the mountain, and they know what it takes to get you to the top
- Celebration Meal – A real “you did it!” feast. We supply the medals, drinks, good food and entertainment, you just bring yourself
- All-Inclusive Services – Accommodation, flights, meals, transfers, permits and more… we’ve got you covered
Set Your Sights on 2026 or 2027 – Because Why Not?

Turn “Maybe next year…” into definitely next year. Or the year after. Set a goal, mark your calendar, and start training for a bucket list challenge.
Kilimanjaro has been described as “the most difficult thing an ordinary person can do”. This is your chance to do something extraordinary. To climb the highest mountain in Africa. To make friends. To laugh, cry, and maybe even dance above the clouds.
