This November we ventured for the first time out to Welsh Patagonia, Argentina – taking with us two fundraising groups from Marie Curie’s Welsh hospices whom collectively raised over £200,000 in fundraising for their respective hospices.
Particular highlights of the trek, which was over 90km in 5 days, were the stunning Patagonian canyons and landscapes, the stunning valley of Cwm Hyfryd, and traversing the same mountains that Welsh settlers did over 138 years ago.
Speaking of the experience, Sara, Challenge Events Manager at Marie Curie reflected “We’ve had an amazing time in Argentina – honestly loved every minute!”.
